PHC and Robinson Metal Strengthen Ties in Automation Manufacturing

Product Handling Concepts and Robinson Metal of De Pere, WI, took another step in leveraging their concerted capabilities by further aligning as manufacturing partners.

PHC is a ten-year-old company that specializes in custom engineered solutions. The engineering firm is known for developing cutting-edge automated product handling equipment and integrated packaging systems for various industries, most notably the Tissue Converting and Food & Beverage industries.

Robinson Metal is a recognized leader in single source solution for custom metal works that unites expertise and experience. Over its 42 year history, the company has developed into one of the largest multi-division custom metal work operations in the Midwestern United States.

In August of 2016, PHC welcomed Robinson Metal to its newly formed investment group after PHC was acquired and re-capitalized. Prior to the transaction, the two independent companies enjoyed a typical supplier/customer relationship. Since their newly formed partnership, the two companies have developed collaborative strategies and a vertically integrated relationship that provides excellent value to the markets they serve.

Next month they will take their partnership one step further by integrating PHC’s purchasing, fabricating and assembly activity into the Robinson organization, while PHC continues to expand its sales and engineering staff.

“This partnership is fantastic for our customers because it creates a very cost effective, extensive, vertically integrated manufacturing platform” said Jim Livermore, CEO of PHC. Livermore went on to point out that Robinson Metal provides PHC with virtually unlimited capacity, quality workmanship and unmatched fabrication expertise intended to support PHC’s growth plans.
